Class “Make up” Policy
Only excused absences will be eligible to makeup. For an absence to be considered excused, a parent needs to email the front desk of the location the student attends prior to the start of the class. Students may make up excused absences in classes at, or one level below, their current level at the location in which they are registered. All make ups must be completed before the current session ends. Make ups must be scheduled with the front desk to ensure there is room in the class and the teacher is made aware of the additional student.
Exception: Spring Session – no make ups are allowed as our students will be rehearsing their dances for our Spring Showcase during their class time
Dancers must be 7 years old by December 1st of the year they wish to audition. Preference will be given to students who have been enrolled in the school of Ballet Hawaii, year round, for at least 1 year.
Cancellation of Classes
Ballet Hawaii School will be closed in case of severe weather conditions according to the Hawaii DOE School Systems closings.
Cancellations made five days in advance of the start of a session will receive 100% refund. NO REFUNDS AFTER SESSION HAS STARTED.
Sibling Discount Policy
Families with 2 or more students enrolled at Ballet Hawaii will receive a 10% discount on each additional child’s tuition (full price tuition to be paid on the highest price tuition, excludes open classes).
