Studio Reopening: Open Classes

Ballet Hawaii is excited to announce that open in-studio classes will resume at our Honolulu location (on South Hotel Street) on Monday, March 8, 2021!  We will be operating under PROTOCOLS in accordance with the City & County of Honolulu’s Emergency Order 2021-02 and the implementation of Tier 3 COVID-19 recovery framework.

 

Ballet Hawaii will also continue to offer virtual open ballet classes on Zoom for those unable to attend in-studio.

Note: Prior to taking any in-person classes at Ballet Hawaii’s studios, we MUST have a signed copy of our protocols as well as a signed COVID-19 waiver.

Once you’ve downloaded the PDFs, please follow these instructions to electronically sign the forms and send to hnlattendance@ballethawaii.org.

 

Pre-Registration will be on a first-come, first-serve basis, and must be done no later than 48 hours prior to the class.  Payment and a signed waiver are required at the time of registration.  You may view class availability via THIS DOCUMENT.  It will show you which classes are available and which, if any, are wait-listed.  Teachers are subject to change based on availability.

 

Per class, tuition is $20.00 and there are no refunds once your class spot is reserved.  We require a minimum of 5 participants to hold the class and, per the Tier 3 Recovery Framework from the City & County of Honolulu, there is a maximum of nine students per class allowed with one teacher.  Ballet Hawaii reserves the right to cancel a class if minimum enrollment is not met.

Classes are held on Zoom from the comfort and safety of your home on Fridays 10:00am-11:00am.

*Please sign in 15 minutes before class with your first and last name. Upon logging in, you will be placed in a waiting room for security and verification purposes. Once your registration has been verified, you will be admitted into the class.

 

*If your video does not display your first & last name, please navigate to the “participants” tab, find your device/account, and edit it to reflect your first and last name.

 

*Please ensure your camera is on so we may identify and check you into the class. Once you are checked in, you may turn your camera off or leave it on for the duration of the class, whichever is your preference.

 

*To reduce sound interference – please mute your microphone during class unless there is a need to communicate with the teacher.

 

*If you need to ask a question, you may also utilize the Zoom chat function.
