How to support the ballet

Annual Fund

By donating to Ballet Hawaii, you help us continue providing exceptional dance education, impactful community outreach programs, and one-of-a-kind performances that enrich our local culture.

Since 2005, Ballet Hawaii has welcomed students from Title I schools, along with our nonprofit community partners, to the Blaisdell to attend our annual performance of The Nutcracker. This evening is made possible by the generosity of the sponsors and donors of the Angel Program.

There is an unimaginable joy and wonder that fills the Blaisdell as over 2,000 attendees are enchanted through the transformative power of dance. For many, the experience is not only about the professional dancers; students in attendance see keiki their age performing on our stage. Allowing them to dream “if they can do it, I can do it”. This is a testament to the MAGIC of The Angel Program.

Every donation goes directly towards covering expenses for each attendee’s ticket and round-trip transportation for Title I schools.

Your gift supports the refurbishment and preservation of our costumes! Donations allow us to continue providing dancers of all ages with costumes that help them shine their brightest on stage.

Giving Tuesday

December 1, 2026

Giving Tuesday was created in 2012 as a simple idea: a day that encourages people to do good. Over the past 12 years, this idea has grown into a year-round global movement that inspires hundreds of millions of people to give, collaborate, and celebrate generosity.

Every gift we receive on this national day of giving will support the resources necessary for Ballet Hawaii’s students, teachers, and staff to enrich our community with the beauty and educational benefits of ballet. Becoming a patron of the arts at any level has never been more important than it is right now!
