CLASS FEE:
$35 for enrolled BH students | $45 for non-BH dancers
*Open to all dancers 12+ who have at least 1 year of training.
CLASS DESCRIPTION:
Dancers will explore duality in movement—mind and body, instinct and technique. Through a guided warm-up mixing improvisation, prompts, and self-discovery, dancers will learn to move out of their head and into sensation. Technique becomes the vehicle to push range and depth, leading into phrase work that blends freedom and precision.
BIOGRAPHY:
Maxwell is an international movement artist that has an expansive and fluid background in contemporary dance with classical roots. His strengths pour over into the commercial and fashion industry.
He has performed with The Metropolitan Opera, The San Francisco Opera, Smuin Ballet, Les Grands Ballets Canadiens, Jacob Jonas The Company, and Sadler’s Wells theatre Gala in London. Maxwell is currently working on a new Amazon Prime TV series called ‘Etoile’ With Marguerite Derricks as a dance body double and on the creative side.
