Rehearsals for the Nutcracker are mandatory & subject to change

Our annual The Nutcracker is a professional production. Ballet Hawaii hires principal guest artists from leading ballet companies from around the world, with musical accompaniment by the Hawaii Symphony Orchestra. Student auditions are held in late August and all dancers must be at least 7 years old. Rehearsals are primarily held at the Ballet Hawaii Honolulu studios, with some rehearsals taking place at our Ballet Hawaii West studios in Waipahu. Please refer to your monthly rehearsal schedule for detailed information.
All casting decisions are at the sole discretion of the Artistic Director. Your continued participation is determined by your attendance at rehearsals and your abilities. Students who are cast in our Nutcracker performance are required to be in our year-round sessions.
Costume fittings and rehearsals are mandatory.
